1) Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the Let’s Gym mobile application, website, or related services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. You must be 18 years or older to create an account.

2) What Let’s Gym is

Let’s Gym is a social fitness platform that helps users find workout partners and join or host community events. We provide tools for discovery, RSVPs, group chat, reminders, basic check-in, and (where enabled) paid ticketing via third-party processors (currently Stripe).
Let’s Gym is not an organizer or operator of events; events are created and led by independent hosts or communities.

3) Account & Eligibility

  • You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.

  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and for safeguarding your login details.

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our community guidelines.

4) Community & User Conduct

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Break any applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) or the Emirate where an event occurs;

  • Harass, threaten, defame, impersonate, or harm others;

  • Post or share illegal, obscene, infringing, hateful, or fraudulent content;

  • Spam, scrape, crawl, or attempt to gain unauthorized access;

  • Organize events that are unsafe or prohibited by venue rules or local law.

We may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion to protect users and comply with law.

5) Health, Safety & Assumption of Risk

Physical activity carries risks. By using the Services and attending events, you acknowledge and accept all risks (including injury or illness) and agree you are medically fit to participate. Let’s Gym does not provide medical advice. Always consult a professional before starting new activities. Meet in public places, use good judgment, and follow local guidance.

6) User Content & License

You retain ownership of content you post (profiles, images, event details, forum posts, messages). You grant Let’s Gym a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, use, reproduce, display, and distribute such content solely to operate and promote the Services. You represent you have rights to the content you post and that it does not infringe others’ rights.

7) Event Hosts & Communities

  • Independence. Hosts/communities are independent parties, not employees or agents of Let’s Gym. They are solely responsible for event safety, accuracy of listings, qualifications, permissions, and compliance with venue rules and law.

  • Community Pages & Tools. We provide discovery pages, RSVP/waitlist, group chat, reminders, basic check-in, and dashboards (e.g., members, attendance %, event counts, views/RSVPs). Availability of features may vary.

  • Moderation. We may remove events or suspend hosting privileges for safety or policy breaches.

8) Ticketing, Fees & Payouts (Stripe)

Processor. Paid events are processed by Stripe. By selling or buying tickets, you agree to the processor’s terms, including any KYC/AML checks that may apply to Let’s Gym as the merchant of record.

Platform / Service Fee (paid by purchaser).

For paid tickets, Let’s Gym charges an 8% platform/service fee calculated on the ticket price (before taxes), paid by the ticket purchaser. This fee may appear as a separate “Processing Fee” at checkout. Stripe fees apply in addition to the ticket price and platform/service fee and are retained by Let’s Gym as part of the processing fee. Platform/service fees are non-refundable, except when required by law.

Role in Payments.

Let’s Gym collects ticket payments (ticket price, platform/service fee, and applicable taxes) via Stripe. Funds first flow to Let’s Gym (or its designated payment account), and Let’s Gym, not Stripe, is responsible for calculating and issuing payouts to hosts in accordance with these Terms.

Host Payouts (Monthly).

For eligible hosts, Let’s Gym aggregates net event earnings for all completed paid events in a given calendar month and aims to issue payouts once per month, typically within 7 days after the end of that calendar month. Payouts are made to the bank account or payout method you provide in your host settings.

Your net payout for a given event or period will generally equal:

  • Ticket revenue (ticket price × paid tickets), minus:
    • Platform/service fees,
    • Payment processor fees and adjustments,
    • Refunds, chargebacks, or disputes,
    • Any other agreed or legally required deductions.

Actual timing of when funds appear in your bank account may vary and depends on your bank’s internal processing times.

Payout Prerequisites.

We may require that you:

  • Provide and maintain accurate bank and contact details;
  • Complete any verification we reasonably request (e.g., identity, address, or tax information);
  • Remain in good standing under these Terms.

We may delay, withhold, or reverse payouts if we suspect fraud, misuse, chargebacks, or legal/regulatory issues.

Taxes.

Hosts are responsible for all applicable taxes, including VAT, and for filing on the amounts they receive. Let’s Gym charges VAT on its own platform/service fees where required and may issue invoices or tax documents as required under applicable law.

Chargebacks & Negative Balances.

You acknowledge that chargebacks or payment disputes can occur and may be deducted from your current or future payouts. Where chargebacks, refunds, or adjustments exceed your current balance, we may offset or recover amounts owed to Let’s Gym from future payouts or by other lawful means.

9) Pricing, Cancellations & Refunds

Host-set pricing.

Hosts set their own ticket prices (subject to any minimums or rules we provide). The final price attendees see may include additional charges, such as platform/service fees and taxes.

Refund Window (Default).

Unless a different policy is clearly stated on the event page, the default refund policy is:

  • Attendees may request a refund up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the event;
  • Within 24 hours of the event start time and afterward, all sales are final, except where the host cancels the event or applicable law requires otherwise.

Platform & Processor Fees.

The 8% platform/service fee charged by Let’s Gym is non-refundable once a ticket is purchased, except where we are legally obliged to refund it. Payment processor fees (e.g., Stripe fees) are governed by the processor’s policy and may not be refundable.

Where a refund is approved under the applicable refund policy, Let’s Gym (via Stripe or the relevant processor) will process the refund to the original payment method. Depending on your bank/card issuer, it may take approximately 5-10 business days (or longer, depending on the bank or card network) for the refund to appear in the attendee’s account.

Cancellations by Host.

If a host cancels an event:

  • Attendees are generally entitled to a full refund of the ticket price, subject to the event’s stated policy and applicable law;
  • Let’s Gym may, at its discretion, refund platform/service fees in whole or in part in connection with a cancellation;
  • Let’s Gym may initiate refunds through Stripe or the relevant payment processor on behalf of the host, but the host remains ultimately responsible for honoring their stated refund policy and applicable law.

No-shows.

Suppose an attendee does not attend an event and no timely cancellation/refund request was made within the allowed window. In that case, no refund is owed under the default policy unless the host explicitly states otherwise or applicable law requires it.

10) Free Events

Free events incur no platform fee. Hosts must still ensure safety, accuracy, and legal compliance.

11) Communications

By using the Services, you consent to receive in-app messages, push notifications, and emails related to your account, events, and product updates. You can manage notifications in settings. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option.

12) Privacy & Data

We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL), where applicable. We may process data outside the UAE in accordance with law and appropriate safeguards. See our Privacy Policy for details.

13) Third-Party Services & Links

The Services may include links to third parties (e.g., Stripe, map providers, venues, social media). Let’s Gym is not responsible for third-party content, terms, or privacy practices.

14) Intellectual Property

The Services, including the Let’s Gym name, logos, app, website, code, and design, are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works.

15) Service Changes & Availability

We may update, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the Services at any time without liability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

16) Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Let’s Gym does not warrant that events will meet your expectations or that participants/hosts are qualified, insured, or background-checked.

17) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, Let’s Gym (and its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates) shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Services or attendance at events. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) AED 500 or (b) the total fees you paid to Let’s Gym in the 3 months preceding the claim.

18) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution (UAE)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and, to the extent applicable, the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Any dispute shall be finally resolved by arbitration at DIAC (Dubai International Arbitration Centre) under the DIAC Rules by one arbitrator, seat Dubai, UAE, language English. You and Let’s Gym may seek interim injunctive relief from competent UAE courts.

(If you prefer courts over arbitration, replace this clause with: “exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Dubai.”)

19) Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Let’s Gym and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of: (i) your use of the Services or attendance/hosting of events; (ii) your breach of these Terms or law; (iii) your content; or (iv) injury or damage you cause to others.

20) Termination

You may delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate your access for any breach or risk-related reason. Upon termination, your license ends and certain sections (e.g., liability, indemnity, dispute resolution) survive.

21) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by posting the updated Terms and, where required, by in-app or email notice. Changes apply prospectively from the stated effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

22) Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Let’s Gym.

  • No Waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

  • Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.

  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign to an affiliate or in connection with a merger or sale.

  • Language. These Terms are provided in English and may be provided in Arabic. If there is any conflict, the English version controls (unless UAE law requires otherwise).

Host Addendum (for Communities/Venues/Creators)

If you enable hosting or ticket sales:

Accuracy & Permissions. You warrant your listings are accurate; you have all rights (venue permissions, qualifications, insurance if required).

Safety. You will implement reasonable safety measures and comply with venue rules and local law.

Refund Policy. You will publish a clear refund/cancellation policy. If absent, the default policy in Section 9 applies: attendees may request a refund up to 24 hours before the scheduled event start time; within 24 hours and afterward, all sales are final unless you cancel the event or applicable law requires otherwise.

Fees. Let’s Gym charges an 8% platform/service fee per paid ticket, which is charged to attendees (purchasers) in addition to the ticket price. Payment processor fees (e.g., Stripe fees) are additional. Platform/service fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Your payouts will reflect deductions for platform/service fees, processor fees, refunds, and any applicable adjustments.

Payout Schedule. Let’s Gym generally aggregates your net earnings for completed events each calendar month and aims to issue payouts once per month, typically within 7 days after month end, to the payout account you provide. Timing of receipt depends on your bank and is not guaranteed.

Taxes & Invoices. You are responsible for VAT and applicable taxes on amounts you receive. If required, you will issue VAT invoices to attendees and comply with tax laws in your jurisdiction.

Data. You may only use attendee data for the stated event and in compliance with the PDPL and our Privacy Policy. No resale or spamming.

Brand Use. You may use Let’s Gym marks only as permitted in our brand guidelines and solely to promote events on the platform.

Removal. We may remove events, pause payouts, or revoke hosting for policy or risk reasons.
